Recognizing Neurological Diseases

The nervous system includes the brain, spinal cord, and nerve endings all over the body. When conditions that affect the nervous system manifest physically, your pet may experience lameness, pain, imbalance or even seizures. They can also manifest behaviorally. You may notice your pet becoming disoriented, barking inappropriately, or even having a change in temperament. Recognizing and reporting the symptoms is the first step to putting your pet back on the road to health.
