The U.S. Army Brings in the Dogs
Working with America’s VetDogs (a subsidiary of the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind), the United States Army is sending therapy dogs to Iraq to provide emotional comfort and relieve combat stress on the front lines. Two black Labrador retrievers, Boe and Budge, have been chosen for this special task. We at HealthyPet have touted the benefits of pet therapy for years, and we salute these brave canine heroes and the soldiers they’ll meet.
