The Tale of a Cat and a Snake

Jelly still has eight lives left after a very close call with a copperhead snake. The cat slipped off her owner’s premises in Tasmania and later returned home with a snake wrapped around her head. Jelly’s owner, Wendy, did the smart thing by staying safe behind a closed door and calling animal rescue. The cat was freed from the snake’s grasp and rushed to a veterinary hospital, where she was treated for and expected to fully recover from a snake bite.
