Love at First Sight

A 45-year-old Sumatran orangutan named Tondalayo and a stray kitten known as T.K. became inseparable pals after an employee at Zoo World in Panama City Beach, Florida, introduced them to one another late last year. Tonda had been depressed after losing her mate but was too old to move to a new zoo and too loyal and old fashioned to even consider a new mate. The zookeepers tried to amuse and distract the simian with ducks, turtles, and other slow crawlers, but nothing worked—that is, until Tonda laid eyes on little lost tabby T.K. The unlikely pair play together and even cuddle and sleep together every single night.
