Bollywood Bow-Wow

As wonderful stories from faraway places go, this one is pretty darn good. In India, where a booming film industry exists, pets were once an adornment that only helped light bounce toward a star or starlet’s face. Now, a good percentage of the Hindi film and television industry owns at least one dog. Says Bollywood actress Udita Goswami, “I agree we’ve become a pet-friendly industry, but that has nothing to do with stardom. You have to love your pet; otherwise, neither the animal nor you will be happy.”
